All our products (except bikes) are delivered FREE to UK Mainland Addresses (to Box & ship bike by City Link next working day is £25). We can also deliver products within EEC at cost price. For example a bike insured for £1000 and delivered to Finland would cost approx £65 (£1 = 1.5 Euros)

Making A Purchase .... Making a purchase from Keswick Bikes could'nt be easier - just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. When you've finished shopping click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept all credit and debit cards (except Amex). We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship and back and specially ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send us your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

We are based in the United Kingdom (UK) and our local currency is the Great British Pound (£ GBP). If you are shopping from ourwith the UK your credit card company will convert the transaction from £ GBP into your local currency. If you are shopping from outwith the UK please contact us by email to confirm the up to date shipping rates that will apply to your transaction - office@keswickbikes.co.uk

When confirmation of order is received an email will be sent to you. This is to indicate that we have received your order, however, it does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the event that a mistake has been made in pricing, (i.e should we have inadvertently under-priced goods) or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason (i.e. out of stock or the product is no longer available). In the event of a change to an item's price we will always contact you first to confirm that the price is acceptable.

When ordering from our Website we require a landline number so that we that we can carry out the necessary mandatory security checks required for credit / debit card transactions. We will only deliver goods to your Invoice Address (i.e. the address that your credit or debit card is registered). We will not ship to alternative addresses.

Shipping And Handling .... We use the Royal Mail for the smaller items and DHL for the bigger stuff. Delivery Schedule .... We will endeavour to pack and ship your order right away if the goods are in stock. If we do not have the goods in stock we will contact you by email immediatly to advise you how long we think it will take to supply your order. You will then have the option is confirming that this is satisfactory to you or you may cancel your order at this point.
Back Orders .... If the goods you order are not in stock we will offer to back order it for you. In this eventuality we will email you to advise the antcipated delivery time for your order. If you would rather not wait you have the option to cancel your order at this stage.
Tax Charges .... For orders made from the UK and within the European Union (EU) Value Added Tax (VAT) is added at 15% (Note this will revert to 17.5% from the 1st of January 2010). Helmets, books and certain energy products are VAT exempt. All orders from countries outwith the EU are VAT exempt. All Keswick Bikes prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Credit Card Security .... When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer and are not held in clear text on any web site.

Our over - riding motto is 'keep the customer satisfied' and we will bend over backwards to achieve this simple aim, within reason.

Additional security may be required for larger sales (i.e. Bikes, Frames, Wheels and Groupsets) when we may decide to ask the customer for additional proof of ID. Due to ever increasing fraud we need you to give us your home land line number when submitting your order. This is to ensure the safety of our customers in case of fraudulent activity.
Guarantee .... At Keswick Bikes we only stock, recommend and sell products that we use ourselves. All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarantee.

In the event that you wish to return a product to us our protocol is as follows: Please return the item in NEW condition with ALL packaging to us stating the reason you are returning the product.. Will will then arrange for your refurnd to be made. Please note that a stocking-in charge of 10% of the product's value may be applied to products ordered in as special orders which are then subsequently returned.
